chat folder
The chat folder is one of the features that makes Telegram not just a messaging app but an open-source platform as well. video screen sharing
Telegram also lets you share your device’s screen during a video call. This feature is available only for group video calls. All you need to do is start a video call and then tap the three-dot button, which is located in the “Video Chat” space. After this you will see some option, from which you will have to select Screen Sharing.
This app will now show you two small screens. One screen will be for sharing and the other will show your face. If you want to see any of them magnified the screen, you can double tap on any screen. You can then minimize your screen again by double tapping.
cloud storage files
Telegram is a cloud-based messenger app and WhatsApp is not. Users can access their messages in Telegram from multiple devices, including tablets and computers. The app also has a personal ‘Saved Messages’ section, which users can use as a notepad. Users can write their important messages and save pictures in it. All these things are also backed up on Telegram’s secure cloud, which is a great feature.
Schedule message feature
This is a feature that you will not find in popular messaging apps like WhatsApp. In Telegram, users can schedule messages, and edit them whenever they want. You can edit the message up to two days after sending at most one message. This feature is available for both personal chat and group chat. To schedule a message on Telegram, you have to first type a message and then long press on the send icon. After this Telegram will show you the option of Schedule Message, in which you have to schedule your message by setting the date and time.
archived box
WhatsApp lets you archive chats, but Telegram offers a better way to find hidden chats. On WhatsApp, you’ll have to scroll down the chat window to the last to find the archive section, which is a tricky process. Whereas in Telegram, you can easily find the archived box i.e. hidden messages.
