SBI Bank customers may face difficulties in making digital banking services on July 16th and July 17th. The digital service is shut down for about 150 minutes daily. So plan your transaction accordingly.
SBI Bank said in a tweet that it will carry out technical maintenance work on July 16 and 17 from 10.45 pm to 1.15 am.
Internet Banking / YONO / YONO Lite / UPI services are not available during this period. “We look forward to providing you with a more advanced and better banking experience. We urge valued customers to co-operate in this endeavor,” SBI’s tweet said.

This is not the first time SBI has disabled its internet banking services. For the past few months, SBI has been suspending its services from time to time for maintenance.
It is noteworthy that services were suspended on July 10 and July 11 for maintenance and on July 3 and July 4 from 3.25am to 5.50pm.
There are more than 22,000 SBI Bank branches across the country. As of 31 December 2020, the number of Internet banking customers stood at 85 million and the number of mobile banking customers at 19 million.
The number of UPI subscribers is over 135 million. So the bank will occasionally suspend such services causing inconvenience to many customers.
