The State Bank of India (SBI) has opened an ATM on a houseboat on Dal Lake in Srinagar for the convenience of locals and tourists. SBI launched the first floating ATM in Kerala in 2004. This SBI floating ATM was installed on a junker yacht owned by Kerala Shipping and Inland Navigation Corporation (KSINC). This ferry operates between Ernakulam and the Vaipeyan region. SBI’s first floating ATM was commissioned by Ashok K, then Deputy Managing Director of the Mumbai Corporate Center. Launched by Kinney.
