The capital Lucknow is witnessing the havoc of dengue and viral fever. The OPD and emergency wards of all government hospitals in the district have become full. The health department and administration have become alert about this.
The Health Department team has been sent by the Center to the most affected Firozabad district so far. which is reviewing the cases. At the same time, the mercury of patients of encephalitis in Gorakhpur is also seen rising in the midst of dengue infection. In view of all this, nodal officers have been deployed in all the districts. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is also holding frequent meetings in view of the increasing infection of dengue. He has also given instructions to admit dengue victims on the Kovid beds prepared in view of Corona.
Patients getting admitted fast in the hospital in Lucknow-
In the capital Lucknow also, patients of dengue and viral fever are getting admitted rapidly. Fever patients are coming fast in other hospitals including Civil Hospital, Balrampur, Rani Laxmibai, Lohia. Hospital emergency is full. At the same time, all the beds in the emergency of Trauma Center, Lohia Institute and Civil have been filled. All the fever patients are being admitted in private hospitals and clinics too. Dr. SK Nanda, CMS and Acting Director, Civil Hospital said that dengue cases used to come every year in October or November, but this time it has already come. He told that earlier 70-80 patients used to come due to fever in a day, now 115-120 patients are coming forward. District Magistrate Abhishek Prakash held a meeting with the Commissioner, CMO, City Health Officer and other officials on Friday and gave instructions from cleanliness to providing all necessary facilities to the patients. The officers are constantly active on the field. In Varanasi, dengue has been confirmed in 66 people. About 13 cases of dengue have also come to the fore in Kanpur Nagar.
Center team camped in Firozabad
After the maximum number of deaths in Firozabad, the health team from the center has camped in the district. This team was searching for the real reason for the deaths here. On Monday, this team will submit the detailed report of the investigation to the Center. More than 50 children have died in the district so far. And it is believed that the reason for this is dengue. Apart from Firozabad, Mathura, Chandauli of Brij region are also not untouched by this. 111 cases have been reported in Mathura.

Encephalitis havoc in Gorakhpur
Between viral fever and dengue, the cases of encephalitis are also increasing rapidly in Gorakhpur, which has brought worry lines on the forehead of the health department. At present, 27 patients are undergoing treatment at Gorakhpur’s BRD Medical College, mostly children. Doctors say that more patients are coming this year than last year. This year 120 cases have been received, whereas last year only 81 patients had come and six children died.
