Parkton — The North Carolina Department of Investigation and federal agencies are supporting a Sunday shooting investigation in Parkton, killing one man and sending two to hospital.
According to the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office, Parkton’s Thomas Phaulkon, 41, was on 102 Victoria Drive after an agent responded to a report that someone had been shot there at around 7:32 pm. It was found dead on the scene.
Craig Robinson, 36, of Parkton and Charlie Pearson, 57 of St. Pauls, were also found shot dead. According to the sheriff’s office, both Robinson and Pearson were transported and treated at a nearby medical facility.
The NCSBI and the Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are supporting the investigation of the sheriff’s office.
