SBI Latest News: There is an important message for SBI customers. The bank has released a video message to its 44 crore customers. The bank provides information on what customers should do if their debit card is lost, crashed or stolen. SBI has said in its video how to prevent it if the card is lost.

In a 1.25-minute video released by SBI, SBI explains how to block your new debit card, change the card or get a new card right from your mobile.
The bank said the customer should call the bank’s toll free number 1800 11 2211 or 1800 425 38000. You will then need to follow the instructions to block the card.
SBI customers need to remember that their mobile number must be registered with SBI. In addition, the customer must remember the debit card number they want to block.

After the card is blocked, an SMS will be sent to your registered mobile number. You can also place an order to replace (replace) the card. After placing the order, it reaches your registered address. The bank will also charge you for this.

2. Blocking method by Net Banking
If you do not want to block the card with IVR, you have other options. You can block your SBI card by going to the SBI website and internet banking facility.
1. First log in to www.onlinesbi.com.
2. Select ‘BLOCK ATM CARD’ under ‘ATM Card Services’ under ‘e-Services’.
3. Select the account associated with the Debit Card.
4. Active and blocked cards will be displayed. You will see the first 4 and last 4 digits of the card.
5. Select the reason you want to block it with the card you want to block. Then ‘Submit’.
6. Check and confirm the details. Then select it as authentication. There will be either an OTP or a password.
7. Enter the password or OTP and click the ‘Confirm’ button.
3. You can block this way via SMS
If you lose your debit card, you can also block your card via SMS. Customers do not even need a username and password to do this. Write BLOCK from the mobile number registered in the account and then write the last 4 digits of the card and send an SMS to 567676. The bank will send you a message confirming the card block. This will include the ticket number, the date and time of the block.
4. How to Block by SBI YONO Processor
Customers can also block their ATM / Debit Card with the help of SBI Yono Processor. For this you must first go into the processor. Then select the Service Request option and select Block ATM / Debit Card. Enter your Internet Banking Profile Password. Now select the account to which the card is attached. Now select the card number. Then select the cart number. The reason for blocking the card must then be reported.
