SBI Door Step Banking: In the midst of the Corona crisis, the country’s public and private sector banks (PSB and Private Banks) offer their customers a range of home-based services.
The good news for State Bank of India (SBI) customers, the country’s largest public sector bank, is that SBI has started offering door-to-door banking services to its customers.
Under this, SBI customers can avail various facilities at home, from withdrawing money from the account, including receiving checks and depositing money. However, the bank says you can only order Rs 20,000 a day.

State Bank of India has said that the banking service is now available at your doorstep and customers need to register to avail the service. You can register at the branch where you have the bank account. The maximum limit for depositing and withdrawing money from a bank’s home service is Rs. 20,000 per day.

Customers have to pay a service charge of Rs 60 and GST for all non-financial transactions. At the same time, for financial transactions, a banking service charge of Rs.100 and GST will be levied. It is to be noted that to withdraw money, along with the check, the form for withdrawing money from the account and the passbook are required
However, SBI’s new Doorstep Banking service is not available for non-personal and casual accounts. On the other hand, this facility is not available if the customer’s registered address is within a radius of 5 km from the home branch. 75 and GST will be levied on financial and non-financial services on Door Step Banking.
