SBI Doorstep Banking Service: The Kovid 19 pandemic has had a negative impact on many sectors of banking support. Some are still worried about getting kicked out of the house. They are looking for ways to get their work done from home. To this end the government sector bank has brought in State Bank of India doorstep banking facilities.
State Bank of India, a state-owned banking giant, offers three types of home-based services to its customers: pickup services, delivery services and other services. Provides pickup services like check, demand draft, pay orders, new check slips, IT challan. Delivery services include Drafts, Pay Orders, Term Deposit Receipts, Account Statement, TDS or Form 16 Certificate and Gift Card. Corona has brought other services such as cash withdrawal and digital life certificates to pensioners for their clients.

SBI Doorstep Banking Features
1. Registration should be done at State Bank Of India Home Branch
2. Opportunity to request doorstep banking services at Home Branch.
3. Daily cash withdrawal limit, cash deposit limit is limited to Rs.20,000.
4. Rs.100 plus GST payable on cash transactions. For non-cash transactions Rs.60 and GST are payable
5. Cash withdrawal by check or Withdrawal Form with Passbook is allowed.

These services are available to senior citizens over 70 years of age, persons with disabilities, those with a doctor’s certificate of serious health problems, Bank customers who have completed KYC, those who have registered a valid mobile number for the account, those who have a single account, those who have a joint account and currently have only one customer. These services do not apply to Minor Accounts, Residents within 5 km of the Home Branch.
Doorstep Banking App Registration Process:
Step 1: Download the Doorstep Banking App.
Step 2: You need to enter your mobile number for registration
Step 3: OTP comes to your mobile from the system
Step 4: Enter the OTP in the Doorstep Banking app
Step 5: Type your name, email (optional) password (PIN) and accept the terms and conditions to confirm
Step 6: Once the registration is complete you will receive a welcome SMS from the DSB system
Step 7: Login to the app through the PIN number given during registration
Step 8: Take the Add Address option and enter your address in it. It is possible to embed more than one address. Allows you to add or delete these addresses. SBI said doorstep banking services can be accessed through the mobile app, website and call number.
