SBI recently released a new security feature “SIM Binding” on its digital banking platforms YONO and YONOLite to enhance its digital banking services.

According to banks, these new features have been launched to protect customers from various types of digital fraud. “With the SIM binding feature, YONO and YONO Lite will only work on devices that have a SIM with a mobile phone number registered with the bank,” the bank added.

To use the new version of the SBI YONO and YONO Lite apps with new security features, customers must update the YONO / YONO Lite app. After the update, you need to go through a one-time registration process.
